City Builder is a web platform developed by Citi Ventures to connect private capital with community-focused infrastructure projects. As the lead product designer, I helped shape the experience from early MVP to an international investment research tool used across multiple global markets.
The original version of City Builder lacked structure, clarity, and intuitive navigation. Investors couldn’t find relevant projects, and the platform fell short as a serious research tool. The design didn’t scale for future features or international expansion.
I led a full redesign of the platform—from information architecture and search to a design system and global navigation. The result was a flexible, user-friendly experience that supported detailed research, surfaced high-impact opportunities, and laid the groundwork for expansion into markets like Ukraine, Italy, Togo, and Jordan.
